At the end of the wall of the Salone dei Cinquecento (the one where is the entrance), is a small masterpiece, the Study of Francesco I, is a small side room with no windows. Designed and built by Vasari in the Mannerist style between 1570 and 1575. The walls and vaults are completely covered with paintings, stucco and sculptures from the school of Vasari and represent the four elements: water, earth, air and fire. Portraits of Cosimo I and his wife Eleonora of Toledo, which are facing each other, were made by Bronzino. The studio was rebuilt in the twentieth century after it was disassembled.
The tour continues through the halls on the first floor of the Monumental Quarters, in these rooms, you can visit the Apartments of Pope Leo X.
