SACRED ART MUSEUM OF SAN FRANCESCO
The museum, located in the Franciscan convent, built in the fifteenth century, houses an important collection of paintings, sculptures, sacred vestments and furnishings dating from the thirteenth to the nineteenth century. A section of the museum is formed by the Antiquarium hosting exhibits findings of Etruscan, Roman and medieval ages. The works kept in the museum come from churches and surrounding land have been given by a convention of the diocese of Fiesole. The archaeological findings came from excavations and surface surveys conducted in the territory.

Important works: Pietà in polychrome terracotta school Baccio da Montelupo and a glass depicting San Silvestro Papa of the sixteenth century. "Madonna and Child with Saints" by F. Granacci 15th century. "Madonna and Child" painted stucco by Nanni di Bortolo 15th century.
