SACRED ART MUSEUM (MUSEO D`ARTE SACRA, MUSEO DELLA PIEVE DI SAN PIERO IN MERCATO)

The museum collects for the purpose of preservation and conservation works of art from churches in the territory. The works come from piviere of San Pietro in Mercato, and pivieri of Coeli Aula e San Pancrazio.

Type of objects: paintings, sculptures, vestments; tissues; codes, coins, seals.

Important works: Florence Romanesque art, baptismal font, 12th-13th century. Andrea di Giusto, Madonna with Child, mid 15th century. Filippo Lippi (assigned), Madonna with Child, mid 15th century from the church of S.Andrea a Botinaccio.

Opening Hours: From October to March: 15.30-18.30. Saturday, Sunday and holidays 10.30-12.30 and 15.30-18.30. From April to September: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 10.30-12.30 and 16.30-19.30. From June to September open also on Monday 10.30-12.30 and 16.30-19.30. Closed for Christmas, Easter, 1st May.

Price: € 2.50; reduced € 1.50, free under 6 years old and disabled. Combined ticket with the Museum of Vine and Wine € 4.00.

MUSEUM OF THE VINE AND WINE of the Center for the culture of wine "I Lecci"

The museum collects the testimonies of culture product prince of the territory, wine, through a research shows that, in addition to the stages of production (from the collection of grapes to wine and bottling) the value of tradition that binds to charm of the land and its cultivation. The center also has a wine shop where you can taste the cuisine of Tuscany.

Price: € 2.50; reduced to less than 14 years and older than 65 years € 1.50; free for the disabled and children under 6 years. Combined ticket with museum of sacred art € 4.00.
