The Tower of Castelmarino dating from the twelfth century, it'is probably one of the first coastal towers built to defend the territory of the area and for this presents a different building type than the other towers.

The Tower of Castelmarino is a unique vantage point, from here the view extends to the Grand duchy Pinewood beyond which you can see the sea, just below the tower, flows the canal of Scoglietto, which runs alongside the Piana delle Falesie (plain of the cliff), ideal place to spotting wildlife in the tranquility of their natural habitat.
