Beaches to visit in the municipality of Marciana:

The Gulf of Procchio:

Procchio: definitely worth visiting the beach of Procchio, about 850 meters long, consists of clear sand, is one of the most famous beaches of the island, with all the tourist facilities required for a comfortable stay. 

Campo all'Aia: sandy beach which is located on the eastern side of Gulf of Procchio, is the continuation of the beach of Procchio, here was discovered a Roman ship in very good condition with its cargo of oil and wine. 

Spartaia: small beach of fine sand, westward continuation of that of Procchio, by which is divided by a cliff. 

Paolina: along the western side of the island in the direction of Marciana Marina, you notice the delightful little island where it says that Pauline Bonaparte loved to make his swim. Beautiful creek gravel and stones in front of which lies the island of Pauline, named in honor of Napoleon's sister Pauline Bonaparte. 

The coast from Sant'Andrea to Pomonte:

Sant'Andrea: small sandy beach surrounded by beautiful cliffs of granite. To the right of the beach along the cliff a path leads to the small cove of Cotoncello with a beautiful natural pool. On the left hand another path leads to granite cliffs of Capo Sant'Andrea. 

Patresi: topped by a lighthouse, is a comfortable and relaxing beach where you can enjoy a perfect temperature even in the most sultry days. 

Chiessi: area of cliffs and rocks with water particularly clear.

Pomonte: beach characterized by pebble and where you can make interesting underwater excursions, like at the wreck of a ship sunk in 1972 just near the cliff facing the beach.
