| In 1673 marquis Francisco Feroni acquired from the Granduca Cosimo III de' Medici a farmhouse with 45 farms, here he made to construct a flour mill and a furnace. Subsequently, in 1696 his son, Fabio Feroni, began the construction of Villa Panorama, the building was planned from the florentine architect Antonio Maria Ferri. The structure has a facade in baroque style with a balcony and four towers at each angle. The entrance is formed from a porch with three arches. Subsequently on the top of the facade a great mechanical clock was placed. Inside, the rooms, are distributed around to a great central hall frescoed, and they create with their beautiful disposition a perspective effect. The structure has also a garden and an elegant chapel. The garden, divided from a majestic tree-lined avenue with a series of statues and ornamental pot, has also a great central basin. | |||||||||||||||||
