Montepulciano is a beautiful medieval and renaissance town that is located on a hill 605 meters above sea level in the southern province of Siena. Montepulciano is in the middle of an area rich in history, art and good wine (Vino Nobile di Montepulciano), the city is only 13 km from Pienza, 67 km from Siena and is well served by the exits of Valdichiana (for those coming from Florence) and Chiusi Chianciano (for those coming from Rome) of the Autostrada del Sole (A1).
Continue the visit to the Santuary of the Madonna di San Biagio.
