Passing the Pia Bridge, you arrive in a few minutes to the ruins of the ancient monastery of Santa Lucia, beyond the bridge there is an ancient pavement road, this road was probably rebuilt in 15th century and named “Strada Manliana”, the bridge could be built just for the passage of the monks of the Hermitage.
The bridge is also linked to a legend according to which, during the moonless nights, appears in the vicinity of this place, the ghost of a woman in white, with a veil covering her face, walking on the bridge without touching the ground.
