The first Agriturismi were born around the early sixties in Tuscany and were closely related to the accommodation at a tourist farm, in fact in the origin the tourist accommodation made available were simple and with few services, most confined to a bed and toilet facilities.
Always on top is the wine and food offer that allows the visitors to enjoy healthy food and drink typical of the place visited directly from the manufacturer. In some farms are organized cooking classes for guests, or it allows customers to collect directly from the trees fruits or vegetables, as well as you can participate in farm activities in every detail.
Stay on an Agriturismo is always stay in direct contact with nature that allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, but also its noise and its beauty, often giving up any comfort you can identify with and appreciate more the difference between city life and the country, but for those who want luxury, there are places that do not regret a 5 star hotel, far from it.
Most of the structures are simple, however, with guest rooms or small apartments or B & B immersed in the beautiful Italian countryside and nature.
Tuscany is the italian region that has the largest number of Agriturismi. |
